MTBF Budget Preparation Training Workshops
 

A four-day (1 x 4) training workshop was held from 14-17th December in Islamabad for all the Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDO’s) and budget-preparing officers of the Ministry of Health. The over-all objective of the workshop was to:

  • Brief the budget and accounts staff about the MTBF reforms

  • Explain the requirements under MTBF Guidelines and Budget Call Circular

  • Build capacity of the budget and accounts staff

More than 100 participants from Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Islamabad participated in these workshops. TAMA (Technical Assistance Management Agency) provided the logistical support.

Session II         How to prepare budgets under MTBF mode?

Session III       Practical exercises and discussion

The over-all response of the workshop has been very positive. The MTBF Project Team shall be visiting the spending units to provide hands on support and timely preparation of budget submissions.
