After successful implementation of MTBF in Pilot Ministries (i.e. Ministry of Health and Ministry of Population Welfare), MTBF is now being rolled out to other Ministries. One of the key Roll-out Ministries for MTBF 2006-09 includes Ministry of Education (MOE).
The Letter of Induction was issued to the Ministry on 23rd September 2005. Since then, following milestones of MTBF implementation process in MoE have been achieved.

ACTIVITIES PLANNED

Preparatory work for Ministry Strategic review is under way. Core team members would be involved for their guidance and vision. First version of MSR Report would ready for discussion by January/ February 2006

MTBF Cell has already been established in the Projects Wing of MoE and work on Development Budget has started

For Development projects, close coordination is maintained with DEA (Projects Wing) and DEA (Policy and Planning Wing)
